Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Beef (top round or flank steak) thinly sliced
- ¼ cup Soy sauce
- ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoon Brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- ½ teaspoon Red pepper flakes optional
1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
2. Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or overnight for best results.
3. Preheat your oven to 175°F (80°C). Place a wire rack on a baking sheet.
4. Arrange the marinated beef slices in a single layer on the wire rack.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 4 hours, or until the beef is dry and firm but still slightly pliable.
6. Let the beef jerky cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
