Ingredients

  • 4 lb Beef Brisket
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Red Wine
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Rub the brisket with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the brisket on all sides until browned.
  4. Place the brisket in a roasting pan. Add minced garlic, beef broth, red wine, and rosemary sprigs.
  5. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and roast in the oven for 4 hours, or until the brisket is tender.
  6. Let the brisket rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with the pan juices.
