Basil Pesto Recipe
A simple and delicious basil pesto recipe.

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Fresh Basil Leaves
- ½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- ½ cup Olive Oil
- ⅓ cup Pine Nuts
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
Combine basil leaves, pine nuts, and garlic in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped.
Add Parmesan cheese and pulse a few times more.
Slowly add olive oil in a steady stream while the food processor is on. Stop to scrape down the sides with a rubber spatula.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Transfer the pesto to a bowl and cover with plastic wrap until ready to serve.
