  • 4 bananas sliced lengthwise
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup dark rum
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions 

  1. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Add the banana slices and cook until they start to soften, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Carefully add the rum and ignite with a long lighter. Let the flames subside.
  5. Serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.
