Bananas Foster
A classic New Orleans dessert made with bananas, rum, and a delicious caramel sauce.

Main Ingredients
- 4 bananas sliced lengthwise
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup dark rum
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream for serving
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
Add the banana slices and cook until they start to soften, about 2-3 minutes.
Carefully add the rum and ignite with a long lighter. Let the flames subside.
Serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.
