Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes thoroughly.
  3. Pat them dry and prick each sweet potato a few times with a fork.
  4. Rub the sweet potatoes with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Place the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes or until tender.
  6. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
