Main Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken cut into pieces
- 1 large onion sliced
- 2 large potatoes peeled and cubed
- 3 carrots sliced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 lime juiced
- 1 tablespoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 cups water
1. In a large pot, add the chicken pieces and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
2. Add the sliced onions, cubed potatoes, sliced carrots, and minced garlic to the pot.
3. Pour in the lime juice, and add the allspice, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
4. Let the mixture simmer for about 40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
5. Serve hot and enjoy!
