Main Ingredients
- 1 lb bacon cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 large onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ½ cup coffee brewed
1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
2. In the same skillet, cook the onion until translucent. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
3. Add brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, and coffee. Bring to a boil.
4. Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes, until thickened.
5. Transfer mixture to a food processor and pulse until desired consistency.
6. Let cool and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
