Main Ingredients
- 1 cup raw almonds soaked overnight
- 4 cups water plus more for soaking
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
- 1 pinch salt optional
1. Soak the almonds in water overnight or for at least 8 hours.
2. Drain and rinse the almonds.
3. Blend the almonds with 4 cups of water until smooth.
4. Strain the mixture using a nut milk bag or cheesecloth into a bowl.
5. Add vanilla extract and salt if using, and blend again briefly.
6. Store the almond milk in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
